Q: How long does GOSHI last?

A: GOSHI is designed to hold up for a very long time. We'd typically recommend every 3 - 6 months. However, given how our first production samples are holding up, we think it could last for as long as a year or more. But by that time you may want to replace it anyways. Totally up to you. :)

Everyone is different and we understand for the power athletes or people who are in a line of work where they sweat a lot and/or take on the elements around them, they might choose to replace theirs more often.

One other variable is how you treat your GOSHI. Just the same way you need to rinse off, make sure you rinse out all the soap and hang to dry. This will ensure you get the most out of it.

Q: What is GOSHI made out of?

A: GOSHI is made of 100% recyclable nylon. We looked into all other materials but they would quickly break-down, lose their texture and/or deteriorate. This is what we believe to be the best option for a long lasting fabric that needs to hold it's composition and coarse exfoliating texture.

Q: I've been using other products similar to this, what's the difference?

Similar products that are here in the US just aren't up to par with what's offered domestically in Japan. There has been a lot of advancements made in manufacturing techniques and most of what's available hasn't been updated since the 1960's.

Additionally, our manufacturing costs alone are more than retail prices of other exfoliating body towels sold in the US. Reason being, GOSHI is made in Gunma by what we believe to be some of the best textile producers in the world and they have put a lot of time, money and energy refining and creating the most up-to-date machinery to make their products. This region has been making textiles for over 1000 years. In the same way virtually every product has a range between cheaper lesser quality to higher quality (usually with higher pricing due to production costs), same goes for exfoliating body towels.

We're proud of our team and the product we produce. We stand by that. :)
