My skin is tricky when it comes to face wash.I’m at a point where I can just use water to wash my face unless I’ve been wearing makeup or sunscreen then I was to cleanse.I like the feel of this product. I felt it was going to do a nice job of cleansing without drying my face out.It did lather really well (though I don’t need that) and I liked how it felt when I was washing my face.My skin did feel a bit tight and a little too squeaky clean after using this. I learned to use just a little for my skin. I get the benefits of the wash without feeling like I stripped my skin.I really like the component. The soap is dispensed easily. I do think this is a quality product. I’ll definitely continue to use it.Just be mindful not to use too much if you happen to react to cleanser like I do.I’m satisfied with this product
Super vitamin face wash? I’m all in! I think Japanese skincare might be the next big thing so I was really excited to try this brand. This face wash is really thick and a little bit goes a long way. It lathers really well and did a great job at washing off my makeup without leaving my skin feeling dry and tight. It has a light scent to it which I love!I paired it with the goshi toner and loved the combo!
This Goshi super vitamin face wash is nice and feels very hydrating on my dry skin. It has a thick creamy consistency, a gentle lather and a strong citrus scent. It leaves my skin very moisturized and soft without a tight feeling. I did notice it leaves a slight film on my contact lenses so I make sure to use it before I put them in.
I have tried Goshi's body wash in the past, and generally liked the product (if not the scent choice). Their face wash is a solid recommendation for me: it's pleasant to use, foams well, and feels good on my skin without feeling super squeaky/stripping. The scent is better than the body wash, and is more overtly citrus to me, but is toned down in comparison. The packaging is adequate, although it didn't have a safety seal over the bottle's opening like other japanese and Korean products, which raises questions about oxidation of the vitamin C in the cleanser. Ultimately, I would recommend this to people looking for a good, non exfoliating cleanser to help with hyperpigmentation and scarring from acne.
I think this is one of those perfect examples of different skin types reacting to different products. When I use this product, it kind of strips too much from my face. My face feels a bit rough and just a bit too harsh, but when someone else in my house uses it, it leaves their skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. My skin does feel okay again once I follow up with a moisturizer, but I feel like most face washes do the same thing as long as I follow up with my moisturizer. I don't really notice much of a difference here.I think the main issues come down to the sodium lauryl methylaminopropionate, potassium hydroxide, or maybe even the talc. All three of these ingredients can cause issues with drying, and people with sensitive skin like myself usually see a very drying effect. That said, all skin types are different, so it could be perfectly fine for you!The wash comes out in a very thick form, almost like toothpaste, and it lathers up very well. You don't need much! The scent is fantastic— incredibly clean, light, and floral, but not too overpowering. I am super picky with scents, but this one is really nice.Overall, it's a really solid product if you don't have issues with the few drying ingredients. Some folks with very sensitive skin, like myself, though, could run into issues.
I was excited to try this have wash as I only knew of the brand from using their shower sponge and high quality face towel. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the ingredients closely before ordering and only on receiving realized talc is listed pretty high up in the ingredients. As a rule of thumb, I generally steer clear of talc and use mostly "clean" products. Wish this face wash used a talc alternative instead, like rice powder or kaolin clay. Talc aside, there are plenty of seed and flower oils included so smells good but wouldn't suggest if you're sensitive to strong scents in your skincare products.
This face wash has a mild, pleasant scent that’s different from typical soap type scents. It’s highly concentrated, so less than a pea-sized amount produces plenty of lather. It removes makeup better than most gentle cleansers, though heavy waterproof products may still need a separate remover. It cleans well without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight, but it doesn’t add noticeable moisture either.✅ Pros• Mild, non-soapy scent• Very concentrated, a tiny amount lathers well• Removes light to moderate makeup effectively• Gentle and non-drying• Made in Japan with plant-based ingredients❌ Cons• Won’t fully remove heavy waterproof makeup• Not very moisturizingThis is a gentle, effective everyday cleanser that works well in a minimal skincare routine.-Review of GOSHI "Super Vitamin Face Wash for All Skin Types 4 oz - Infused with Vitamin E, Cold-Pressed Sesame Oil, Macadamia and More Plant Extracts - Made in Japan"
I’m familiar with GOSHI for their shower towels, so I was excited to try their Super Vitamin face wash. I love the nourishing ingredient list. I wasn’t expecting the fairly strong fragrance, kind a perfume scent; however, even though I’m sensitive to fragrance, it didn’t really bother me once I started lathering it on my face and went away pretty quickly. It only takes a small amount of this face wash for my entire face and neck. It has a rich creamy lather that cleans well. After rinsing and drying, my face did feel clean, but not dry or stripped, and soft. I’m not sure I would say the softest my face has ever felt, although it did feel nice!
I'm always hunting for the face wash. My favorite, a green tea gel cleanser with no foam, has vanished, so I was excited to try this one, especially since I love how Japanese skincare emphasizes clean, high-quality ingredients. This wash has a thick, creamy texture and a strong herbal-floral scent that’s tolerable, even for my sensitive skin (though scented products are always a risk). It’s packed with nourishing oils like Vitamin E, sesame (a potential allergen), and macadamia (also a potential allergen). It's great for my normal-dry skin, but I was a little worried it might feel heavy or cause breakouts. Thankfully, my skin had no issues. It claims to hydrate, smooth, and balance the skin, and honestly? It delivers. My face feels clean but not tight, moisturized without being greasy. I usually prefer gel cleansers with no lather, but I actually enjoyed the light lather here. It leaves a slight residue compared to gels, but nothing unpleasant, and it disappears within 15 minutes or so, leaving me with super soft skin.Verdict: After using it morning and night, my skin feels more balanced and healthy. It seems to offer longer-term benefits than most washes I’ve tried. Time will tell if it’s "the one," but so far, I’m impressed, especially for the price and ingredient quality.
With the entire system my face feels smoother and cleaner when I wash.
Not the best smell.
Left my face soft, smooth and clean with no drying. Very happy with it, but not a big fan of the scent but it's not horrible. A little goes a long way so start with a small amount.
This requires a very tiny amount to lather and cover your entire face. It gets my face really clean, it's something I like to use when double cleansing to make sure I get all my makeup off. It gets my skin really clean. I have dry skin and if I use this I do notice it is a little bit too much, so I use it every other day or every few days. I can tell it's high quality.
I've tried a lot of different facial cleansers, and this is absolutely one of the better ones. It's not K-beauty, but it IS asian skincare, as it's made in Japan. To me, that's always a green flag.It foams up really, really well, which is something I appreciate. It always drives me a little crazy when I don't feel like I'm actually washing my face. It's very gentle on my skin, and while it doesn't feel particularly moisturizing, it definitely leaves a nice, clean feeling that doesn't make my face feel dried out either. A good value, IMO!
I’m always skeptical to try new face products, as my skin is super sensitive. But the GOSHI super vitamin face wash truly is gentle on sensitive skin! It is a good cleanser without being drying. It leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean. I also love the light scent- it smells very fresh! Overall this is a great face wash at a good value!
This super vitamin face wash for all skin types is really nice. I have sensitive skin and this Face wash leaves my Face feeling nice and refreshed. It does a very nice job of cleansing gently. My skin gets dry very easily and it does not dry it out. It uses plant based ingredients and is made in Japan.
I’ve been using this face wash daily and I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s gentle yet effective—my skin feels clean but not stripped. The formula infused with vitamin E, cold-pressed sesame oil, and macadamia gives it a nourishing touch, so I don’t feel tightness after washing. The scent is very mild (which I prefer), and it lathers just enough without being foamy over the top. Overall, it’s a solid face wash that feels like a nice balance between cleansing and caring for skin.
Packaged wonderfully. Very minimalist in design. It has a light smell that reminds me of something from my childhood that I can't quite place but really enjoy. Nostalgia and all that. A little goes a super long way. I use it with a silicone face scrubber. I have quite sensitive skin and no issues so far.
I got this for myself but ended up giving it to my son. I got this because we know of this brand from using the wash towels that they make. Superb. My son is a huge fan, so he got to sneak this away from me. He says it smells really good, cleans really well, and makes his face feel soft. We are always looking for good skin care, so are very happy to find this. I recommend this product to others ( as well as our favorite wash towels!).
i tried the goshi super vitamin face wash and it instantly felt like a gentle but nourishing upgrade to my cleansing routine the packaging is sleek and minimal just like their toner and the 4 ounce size is compact but feels premium the texture of the cleanser is smooth and creamy yet it rinses away clean without any filmy residue so my skin feels refreshed but not strippedfrom the first wash my face felt softer and more hydrated instead of that tight squeaky feeling some cleansers leave behind the formula is infused with vitamin e cold pressed sesame oil macadamia oil and other botanical extracts which give it a very light natural scent and a silky feel these ingredients work together to keep moisture in while still giving a thorough cleanse even removing light sunscreen and makeup without irritationover the next week of using it morning and night i noticed my skin looked more balanced and had a subtle healthy glow my dry areas felt smoother and my t zone stayed comfortable without getting oily this face wash seems to support the skin barrier instead of disrupting it which makes it a great option for all skin types including sensitive skinit lathers just enough for a pleasant cleanse without that overly foamy harshness and you only need a small amount so the bottle lasts longer than you’d expect for a made in japan product with high quality plant based ingredients the value feels solid especially if you want something gentle hydrating and effective in one stepoverall the goshi super vitamin face wash is a great pick if you want a cleanser that cleans thoroughly while keeping skin soft nourished and radiant it pairs beautifully with the super vitamin toner for a simple hydrating skincare routine that leaves your skin feeling cared for and glowing
I have oily/combination skin and this face wash from GOSHI smells really nice and gets my face very clean.
The face wash comes in a squeeze tube that’s easy to squeeze the product out of. It has a pleasant herbal smell. It looks like a cream but when you add water and put it on your face, it lathers up quite well.
It rinses off easily and it leaves my face feeling very clean. Not stripped, but like one level below it. I definitely want to moisturize afterwards but I feel like everything got extremely clean. I feel like this would be excellent to remove sunscreen from your face because of how much it cleans.
I like that this is made in Japan, which makes me feel more confident about using it. It’s a little expensive but you don’t need much to really lather up your face.
This is a good deep cleansing face wash with a potent, pleasant, herbal scent.
This Goshi face wash has a kind of floral/herbal scent that smells fresh. It comes out creamy but lathers very well. I feel very clean and my skin is noticeably softer after I dry off. It is made in Japan and has the same reputable quality as other Goshi products I've tried so far.
I got this face wash for my daughter and she is very happy with it! She says that it leaves her face clean, soft and glowing after washing. You have to rub it in a little and then wash it off thoroughly which takes some time, but she likes the moisturizing effect that it has post cleaning. The only issue with it for her is the smell. She does not like it at all because it reminds her of a mosquito repellant cream that she used at some point.
At $29, it is a little expensive as well.
This face wash has a noticeable scent—it’s a fresh, slightly citrusy fragrance that I actually enjoy. I was a bit concerned at first since I have sensitive skin and tend to avoid scented skincare, but thankfully, this one has been very gentle and hasn’t caused any irritation or dryness.
The texture is silky and smooth, and it lathers nicely without feeling too foamy or harsh. After rinsing, my skin feels clean and soft, not tight or stripped. I also appreciate the inclusion of nourishing ingredients like vitamin E, cold-pressed sesame oil, and macadamia—it feels more like a skincare treatment than just a cleanser.
It’s on the pricier side for the size, but a little goes a long way, and the overall quality is excellent. Plus, the fact that it's made in Japan and formulated with thoughtful plant-based ingredients gives me confidence in its effectiveness and safety. A great option if you're looking for a gentle yet effective face wash with a boost of skin-loving nutrients.
